Getting started
Do my customers need an app?
No. They scan a QR code or open a link in their browser. No app, no sign-up.
How long does setup take?
The guided setup takes about 5 minutes, and you can save and finish later.
What do I need to buy?
Nothing. A phone, tablet or laptop at the desk. A spare tablet and a TV are optional.
Can I try it as a customer first?
Yes. The setup ends with "Scan this with your own phone".
Price and trial
What does it cost?
$44 a location a month, every feature included, plus tax where it applies.
Is there a free plan?
No. There's a 30-day trial on your first location.
Why do you need a card?
So your line keeps running on day 31. Nothing is charged before then.
How do I cancel?
From your billing page. No phone call.
Is there a yearly plan?
No, monthly only.
Messages
Do messages cost extra?
No. WhatsApp and email updates are included in your $44 — no per-message fees, no caps.
How can WhatsApp be free?
Your customer messages you first — by scanning your WhatsApp code or tapping the button on their waiting page — and our replies to that message cost nothing.
Do you send SMS?
No.
What if a customer gives no contact?
Their waiting page still shows their place and calls them.

Can I take bookings and walk-ins together?
Yes, in one line and one order.
Can urgent cases go first?
Yes. You set your own priority groups, and there's an emergency option.
What if someone waits too long?
The max-wait safety net moves them up, fairly.
Can a visit pass through several desks?
Yes — that's a journey, on one link.
Data and trust
Where is my data kept?
In the EU, in Frankfurt.
How long are customer names kept?
Two days after the visit by default. You can choose one day to one year.
Does the TV show names?
Not unless you choose to. It shows ticket numbers.
Who runs turnda?
One founder, through a Singapore company.
Is turnda working right now?

What it doesn't do
Can it seat restaurant tables?
No. You can ask for a party size, but turnda doesn't match parties to tables.
Does it sync with my calendar or take payments?
No.
